Tempered glass is stronger than standard glass. When tempered glass breaks, it shatters into small pieces with less likelihood of injury.
All glass is dangerous if not treated with extreme care. Proper safety procedures should be followed at all times and appropriate safety attire should be worn during installation. Approved safety eye glasses, safety bibs and safety gloves are essential during installation. National Fire Equipment is not responsible for injury as a result of broken glass.
