Scored Glass 3/16" (5mm)

Used in conjunction with breakglass locks.  The glass is broken along the scoring so the break glass handle of the lock can be reached from outside.  The scoring is done by cutting machines with scoring 2.5mm into the glass for easy knock out of glass section in an emergency.  Typically used where theft or vandalism is a concern in unattended areas such as parking garages.

IMPORTANT: National Fire is not responsible for damages to scored glass panels.  In order for scored glass to knock out properly in accordance with local authority requirements, scoring is cut deep into the glass and while we will make extreme efforts to ensure glass arrives undamaged, we cannot be responsible for broken glass along the scoring line of the glass.

IMPORTANT:  Check with local authorities prior to installing any locking device on fire protection cabinets.

All glass is dangerous if not treated with extreme care.  Proper safety procedures should be followed at all times and appropriate safety attire should be worn during installation.  Approved safety eye glasses, safety bibs and safety gloves are essential during installation.  National Fire Equipment is not responsible for injury as a result of broken glass.
