Johnson Controls is pleased to announce our latest firefighting innovation: ANSUL® 3% SFFF ICAO-B Concentrate (NFF-3B).
ANSUL® 3% SFFF ICAO-B is a Non-Fluorinated Firefighting Foam Concentrate specifically designed for airport firefighting applications, for suppressing and securing flammable aviation fuel spills and fires.
This synthetic foam concentrate can be correctly proportioned using most conventional, properly calibrated, in-line proportioning equipment.
Features and applications:
- Designed, tested, and proven to provide superior fire and vapor suppression on Class B hydrocarbon fuels, such as aviation fuels (Jet A, Jet A1, Kerosene), gasolines and diesel fuels
- Certified ICAO 9137-AN/898 – Level B, meeting the International Civil Aviation Organization Standard
- Intended for use with airport emergency response equipment: Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) trucks, Rapid Intervention Vehicles (RIV)
- Low viscosity to ensure easy induction and compatibility with airport crash vehicles
- Suitable with most conventional air-aspirating and non-air-aspirating foam discharge devices
- Dry chemical agent compatible per ICAO requirement (successfully passed per the MIL-PRF-32725 test protocol on Jet A fuel with Purple K Dry Chemical extinguishing powder)
ANSUL® 3% SFFF ICAO-B Foam Concentrate is manufactured in our plant in Cologno, Italy.
